Ingredients
2 overripe bananas
milk 2 tablespoons
vegetable oil 100ml
1 egg (medium size)
sugar 190g
vanilla extract half teaspoon
flour 240g
baking soda 1 teaspoon
a pinch of salt
walnuts 100g
chocolate chips 100g
Directions
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl;
- Add then the milk and oil and whisk;
- Add the eggs and whisk;
- Add then the sugar with vanilla extract;
- Continue to whisk;
- Whisk until well combined;
- Add the walnuts, then the chocolate chips;
- Bake your banana bread in the preheated oven at 175°C for 50-55 minutes. (If you notice your banana bread starts to get burned on the top, cover the top with a sheet of parchment paper after 30 minutes of baking);
- Using a toothpick, make sure the banana bread is ready. When it’s ready, let it cool down completely;
- Wrap it with food wrap (or place it in a lid food box) and let it rest for a few hours or overnight;
