Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread

  • 2 slices of cheese (any type you like)

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Directions

  • Heat a pan over medium heat.
  • Spread one side of each slice of bread with butter.
  • Place one slice of bread, butter-side-down, in the pan.
  • Quickly top the bread with the cheese slices and the other slice of bread, butter-side-up.
  • Grill the sandwich until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Carefully flip the sandwich and continue cooking until the second side is also golden brown.
  • Remove the sandwich from the pan and let it cool for a minute or two before slicing in half and serving.
