1 cup semolina
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup ghee or clarified butter
2 cups water
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup chopped almonds or other nuts (optional)
- Heat a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat and add the ghee or clarified butter. Once the ghee has melted, add the semolina and roast for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly, until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
