Ingredients
- Pudina Paste
1 cup Mint Leaves (washed)
2 tbsp Curd
- Roasted Cumin Powder
1 cup Cumin Seeds
- Pudina Raita
2 cups Curd
1 tbsp Powdered Sugar
Salt (as per taste)
1/2 tsp Black Salt
1 tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
Directions
- Pudina Paste
- I am taking 1 cup of washed mint leaves to grind.
- Add Adding 2 tbsp of curd to aid grinding.
- Mix.
- Roasted Cumin Powder
- In a hot pan on low flame, I’m taking around 1 cup of Cumin Seeds or Jeera to roast.
- Keep on stirring to roast evenly.
- I can now smell a nice aroma and the color has changed slightly.
- Once the seeds have cooled down, we will grind it.
- Pudina Raita
- I have here 2 cups of cool thick curd.
- Into this goes, 1 tbsp. of Powdered Sugar.
- This needs to be whisked well to smoothen the texture.
- Add the Pudina Paste.
- Mix this well.
- Add Salt to taste – I have taken 1/2 tsp.
- Add 1/2 tsp. of Black Salt or Kala Namak.
- Add 1 tsp. of Roasted cumin powder we made.
- Add 1/2 tsp. of Red Chilli Powder.
- Stir.
- Your Pudina Raita is ready!
