Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, room temperature

  • 1/2 cup milk (120ml)

  • 2 sticks butter, unsalted (225g)

  • 1 3/4 cup plain flour (230g)

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 1/4 cup white / caster sugar (250g)

  • Whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream (120 ml)

  • Vanilla extract (optional)

Directions

  • Mix the butter and the sugar in a mixer;
  • Add 4 eggs, room temperature;
  • Add eggs and whip eggs until fluffy;
  • Add vanilla extract;
  • Mix;mix
  • In a separate bowl, add sift the dry ingredients;
  • Mix well;
  • Add half of the dry ingredients & mix;
  • Add the milk;
  • Mix;
  • Grease & flour 2 baking tins;
  • Distribute the dough;dough
  • Bake in the preheated oven 350F (180CÂș);
  • Allow the cakes to cool;
  • Make the Whipped cream;
  • Add to the cake;
  • Fill with sliced strawberries;
